Force Grey (or Gray Hands) are elite adventurers, or veterans or the City Watch or City Guard, who work for the government of Waterdeep.

Force Grey attracts the best of the best. You don't begin your adventuring careers as members of Force Grey, but you can work up to that status.

Members are paid 100 GP per month.

Force Grey support might come in one of these ways:

  * Adventurers who are arrested are released under the loose supervision.
  * The adventurers receive a helpful magic item that they're allowed to use for a time (until it mysteriously disappears).
  * Respected member of Force Grey helps the adventurers out of a tough situation.
