The Academy of Clockworks, Contraptions, Concoctions & Contrivances is an underground laboratory and engineering school given to frequent disasters, currently located in the Warrens. 

It's a guild for artificers and the like, run by [[monster:kobold|Kobold]]s in [[sted:jungle|The Jungle]]. Not much detail is known about this guildhouse/school.

People are prohibited from entry into the unstable kobold-tunnels of the **Warrens**, but the [[guild:watchful|Watchful Order]] (in their function as magical police of [[sted:waterdeep|Waterdeep]]) seem very reluctant to try to shut the kobold-run school down.

The Academy was created by gnomes beneath the factories of [[sted:jungle|The Jungle]] in the [[sted:tarnish|Tarnish]] neighborhood, before tremors made the **Warrens** dangerous and unlivable.
