Falan er efter hvad han ved født i Waterdeep. han er opvokset på et [[sted:starrycradles|børnehjem]] nede i Dock Ward hvor han meget tidligt fik et meget tæt forhold til en pige ved navn [[npc:rebecca|Rebecca]] (human) gennem hans mange år blev det til et bror/søster forhold som stadig stå meget stærkt idag. 

Falan har aldrig rigtig været uden for [[sted:waterdeep|Waterdeep]] i noget nævneværdige omfang.

Han har været en del af Wyrmlings i noget tid som udkigspost og lommetyv.
