Her var de som familier er flest, tiden gik oftest med at de 2 brødre enten hjalp deres far på hans arbejde med at pakke fisk eller løbe rundt og lege med alle de andre børn i området. En af de ting som Helmer og hans lillebror næsten altid legede, var eventyr hvor de opdager hemmelige ting finder store skatte og slås mod drager. De tog også ofte forbi de forskellige kroer i Waterdeep for at se når der kom nye eventyr til byen.
