Academy of Clockworks, Contraptions, Concoctions & Contrivances
The Academy of Clockworks, Contraptions, Concoctions & Contrivances is an underground laboratory and engineering school given to frequent disasters, currently located in the Warrens.
It's a guild for artificers and the like, run by Kobolds in The Jungle. Not much detail is known about this guildhouse/school.
People are prohibited from entry into the unstable kobold-tunnels of the Warrens, but the Watchful Order (in their function as magical police of Waterdeep) seem very reluctant to try to shut the kobold-run school down.
History
The Academy was created by gnomes beneath the factories of The Jungle in the Tarnish neighborhood, before tremors made the Warrens dangerous and unlivable.
