Werebats are bat-like lycanthropes that require blood in order to survive. Most werebats come from goblin or drow stock, but they can be from other races.

A werebat's humanoid form is typically pug-nosed and sharp-toothed, but even then the differences are so minute that they were virtually indistinguishable from non-afflicted individuals.

They can also transform into a giant bat (or small normal bat when they are children).

The most fearsome form of a werebat is their hybrid form, retaining a humanoid figure but with their arms extended into leathery wings, snouts pushed out from their face, and eyes that glow when hit by light. Their teeth sharpen into fangs and their nails lengthen into pointed claws.
